Paid Ads Rent Traffic.
SEO Builds It.
Every D2C brand running paid ads is renting attention. The moment the budget stops, the traffic stops. SEO is the only digital marketing channel where the work you do today continues paying back six, twelve, and twenty-four months from now — without an incremental cost attached to every click.
For Shopify brands specifically, the SEO opportunity is enormous and systematically underused. Most Shopify stores have product pages that Google cannot read properly, meta descriptions that nobody optimised, and zero strategy behind the keywords they are or aren't targeting. Your products are invisible for searches where buyers are actively looking for exactly what you sell.
We fix that invisibility. Every product page becomes a ranked asset. The Google Shopping carousel — the image-first results at the top of product searches — becomes a source of free, high-intent organic traffic. And the keyword strategy we build covers both the high-volume competitive terms and the long-tail searches that are easier to rank for and often convert at a higher rate because the intent is more specific.
Google Organic Search
Your product and category pages ranking in the ten blue links. High-intent buyers searching specifically for what you sell, clicking for free.
Google Shopping Organic
Image-first product listings at the very top of search results. Shoppers see your product photo and price before clicking. Optimised product feeds capture this free placement.
Long-Tail Discovery Traffic
Specific question-based and comparison searches that signal high purchase intent. Easier to rank for, highly relevant, and often the last search before a buyer converts.
Two Mistakes Almost Every
Shopify Brand Is Making Right Now.
We have audited dozens of Shopify stores. The problems are rarely exotic. The same two mistakes come up again and again — and both are completely fixable. The question is whether you are making them right now without knowing it.
Duplicating a product page and forgetting to change the URL.
This is one of the most damaging things you can do to your SEO and most brands have no idea they are doing it. Here is how it happens: you want to create a new product page quickly, so you duplicate an existing one as a starting point. You update the title, the images, and the description — but you forget to change the URL slug. Now you have two pages with different content sharing the same or near-identical URL structure.
Google sees this as duplicate content. It cannot decide which page to rank, so it often ranks neither — or splits the authority between them, weakening both. Every new product page on your store should have a unique, keyword-informed URL written from scratch. Not duplicated. Not auto-generated from the title. Written deliberately.
If you have ever used the "Duplicate" button in Shopify to create a new product page, check your URL slugs now. There is a very high chance at least one of them is wrong.
Leaving every meta title and meta description blank or auto-generated.
Shopify auto-generates meta titles from your product name and leaves descriptions empty unless you fill them in manually. Most brands never touch them. This is one of the most significant missed opportunities in Shopify SEO because meta tags are the two most direct levers you have to tell Google what your page is about — and to tell a buyer in the search results why they should click yours instead of the competitor above or below you.
A properly written meta title gets your primary keyword in front of Google in the most visible way possible. A well-written meta description with a clear benefit and a reason to click can double your click-through rate on the same ranking position. Every product page is leaving organic traffic on the table until its meta tags are written with intent.
Go to any product page in your Shopify admin and scroll to the bottom. If the SEO preview shows a machine-generated title and no description, you are losing clicks on every search your page appears in.
Are you making either of these mistakes right now?
These are the first two things we fix in every audit. Both are fixable within a week. And fixing them alone can produce measurable ranking improvements.
Every Product Page Is a
Rankable Asset. Most Are Not Ranked.
A Shopify product page out of the box is structurally invisible to Google. There is no keyword strategy behind the title, the description is usually copied from the manufacturer, the meta tags are either missing or auto-generated, and the image alt text is blank. Google cannot rank what it cannot understand.
We optimise every product page from the ground up. The title gets the primary keyword plus the specific variant buyers search for. The description is rewritten to be genuinely useful — covering the product's use cases, the buyer's questions, and the long-tail keyword variations naturally embedded throughout. Meta title and description are written to rank and to earn the click — because ranking page two is worthless, and ranking page one with a weak meta description means someone clicks the competitor below you instead.
We also connect the dots between your Shopify product data and Google Merchant Center, ensuring your product feed is clean, complete, and properly categorised — which directly impacts your eligibility for Google Shopping organic listings at zero cost per click.
Title Tag with Primary Keyword
Written for the exact search query your buyer types, not just your brand's product name.
Meta Description Written to Convert
Ranks the page and earns the click — the two jobs most meta descriptions fail at simultaneously.
Product Description with Long-Tail Keywords
Naturally embedded keyword variations covering every way a buyer might search for this product.
Image Alt Text on Every Asset
Every product image properly described for Google Image Search and accessibility compliance.
Google Merchant Center and Product Feed
Clean, categorised, complete product data feeding Google's Shopping listings — organic and paid.
This Is What Optimised
Product Data Gets You.
Cuir Jackets ranks at position 1 in Google Shopping organic for "roadster leather jacket." Zero cost per click. No ad spend. Driven entirely by properly optimised product data in Google Merchant Center.
The highlighted listing is Cuir Jackets. Position 1. Free organic traffic. No cost per click.
Main Keywords Get the Volume.
Long-Tail Keywords Get the Sales.
Most Shopify SEO strategies chase the obvious keywords — the ones with the highest search volume that every competitor is also targeting. The problem is that a brand new or mid-sized store has almost no chance of outranking established players on a term like "leather jacket" with 200,000 monthly searches.
The smarter play is the one we execute: target the main keyword to build relevance, and simultaneously build a web of long-tail keywords around it that are specific enough to rank faster and targeted enough to convert better. A buyer searching for "which leather jacket to wear with Adidas shoes" is further along in the purchase journey than someone searching "leather jacket." They are closer to buying. They convert at a higher rate. And the competition for that search is a fraction of the head term.
We use tools like Ubersuggest and Google Search Console to track keyword movements, identify ranking opportunities, and monitor which search terms are driving clicks and impressions versus which are gaining traction but not yet converting. Every keyword has a job and we hold it accountable to that job.
Long-tail keywords convert 3x higher than head terms because the buyer's intent is specific. We build your keyword map to win both.
Google Trusts Websites Other
Websites Vouch For.
On-page optimisation gets you ready to rank. Domain authority determines whether you actually do. Google treats links from other websites to yours as votes of credibility — the more relevant, authoritative websites that link to your Shopify store, the more Google trusts it, and the higher it pushes your pages in search results.
Most Shopify brands have zero off-page SEO strategy. Their product pages are perfectly optimised but sitting on a domain with a domain authority of 5 competing against established stores at 40 or 50. The on-page work is wasted without the off-page authority to back it up.
We build domain authority through targeted guest posting — getting your brand published on relevant, high-authority websites in your product category with links back to your store. Every guest post we place serves two purposes: it increases your domain authority for all your SEO work, and it generates referral traffic from readers who are already interested in your product category. The compounding effect of a consistent link-building programme is one of the most powerful long-term assets in digital marketing.

We Work Best With Shopify Brands
In One of These Situations
Running Paid Ads but Getting Zero Organic Traffic
Your Shopify store exists on Google but is invisible. Every sale costs you in ad spend. SEO builds the organic foundation that gradually reduces your dependence on paid acquisition — and the earlier you start, the sooner the compound returns arrive.
Getting Some Organic Traffic but Rankings Are Inconsistent
You have some pages ranking but they're on page two or three, fluctuating, and not converting enough to matter. Usually this means on-page work was done without the authority-building to back it up — or vice versa. We fix both sides.
Scaling a Shopify Brand and Want to Diversify Traffic
Paid ads are working but you're aware of how vulnerable your business is to ad platform changes, CPM increases, or account issues. SEO is the diversification that keeps traffic and revenue flowing regardless of what happens on Meta or Google Ads.
Who this isn't for: Brands that need results within 30 days. SEO is a compounding investment — the Cuir Jackets results above took 3 months of consistent work. If you need immediate traffic, paid ads are the right starting point. If you want a sustainable, compounding traffic asset that makes every paid campaign more profitable over time, SEO is the right investment.

Shopify SEO Questions
Every Brand Owner Asks
The Cuir Jackets results above — position improvement from 43.2 to 26.3 and a 53% click increase — came in three months. Technical fixes and on-page optimisation can show early movement within 4 to 6 weeks. Meaningful ranking improvements on competitive keywords typically take 3 to 6 months of consistent work. Long-tail keywords often rank considerably faster — sometimes within 4 to 8 weeks of optimisation. We are transparent about timelines and will tell you what is realistic for your specific keyword difficulty before you commit to anything.
Google Shopping organic listings are the image-first product results that appear at the top of search results — the ones showing your product photo, price, and store name. The paid version of these requires Google Ads spend per click. The organic version, which Google introduced a few years ago, costs nothing per click and is driven purely by the quality and completeness of your product feed in Google Merchant Center. Ranking organically in the Shopping carousel is one of the highest-value outcomes of Shopify SEO because the click is free and the visual format converts extremely well. The Cuir Jackets listing you see in the graph above is a fully organic, zero-cost-per-click position.
We target both, but long-tail keywords are where most of the early wins come from and where conversion rates are highest. A buyer searching for "leather jacket" could be at any stage of their journey — browsing, researching, or ready to buy. A buyer searching for "lambskin roadster leather jacket slim fit men" is almost certainly ready to purchase. Long-tail searches have lower competition (making them faster to rank for), higher purchase intent (making them more likely to convert), and collectively represent the majority of total search volume on any given topic. We use them to build ranking traction and traffic volume while the main keyword rankings grow over time.
No technical expertise required. We need access to your Shopify admin and your Google Merchant Center and Search Console accounts — we can help you set these up if they don't exist. From there, we handle all technical implementation, product page changes, meta tag updates, schema markup, and feed management directly. We report monthly in plain language so you always understand what was done and what impact it had.
No long-term contract. We work monthly. That said, SEO compounds with time — the brands that see the most significant results are those that commit to at least 6 months of consistent work because the authority and content built in month one keeps paying back in months three through twelve. We earn your continued business by showing you measurable progress every month, not by locking you into a contract.
